The Village Casa M, designed by Vincent Van Duysen, is one of the pieces for The Village collection. He brought his idea of home as a special haven to life through clean lines and warm colors. It is a set of two diminutive sculptures named after and inspired by the designer's own home's lines, colors, and material in Portugal. Its role as a haven and a place where he goes to seek inspiration and take time out can be clearly felt in its miniature incarnations, where the clean, precise lines recall the buildings by modernist masters such as Jørn Utzon and his Casa Lis or Luis Barragán's house and studio. It features a brown cement structure.
