Soniah Small Sconce, designed by Victoria Yakusha, is a beautiful light fixture fixed to a wall to create a charmful ambiance. The shape of the sconce is like the head of a sunflower. The lamp features a primitive, naïve design and living tactile surface shaped by hand from organic material based on clay, the piece animates the space with delicate light. The design is a cultural inspiration bridging links between a sustainable approach to contemporary living and the spiritual relations of ancestors with nature. Soniah is a Ukrainian word for sunflower, one of the symbols of Ukrainian land.
