Terra Al Qana
Design: Bone Studio
Commissioned by COLLECTIONAL
Scope of work:
Architectural Finishes and FF&E
Client:
Terra
Materiality is central to Terra Al Qana’s spatial identity. COLLECTIONALmade contributed to the project through the application of Matteo Brioni’s TerraCalix Smooth in a custom deep maroon tone, an earthy, lime-and-clay-based finish inspired by Moroccan tadelakt.
Applied to walls and architectural surfaces, the finish gives depth and warmth to the interiors while echoing the natural character of the brand.
Raw, tactile surfaces are balanced with refined material gestures, including scratched glazed tiles, patinated metal panels, and pressed date seed surfaces. Translucent fiberglass wraps existing columns and is reimagined as a sculptural chandelier, adding scale and subtle reflectivity to the volume.
Together, these elements form a space that is expressive yet composed, where color, imperfection, and craftsmanship create a distinctive material language unique to Terra’s evolving story.
