Fornace Brioni reimagines terracotta through handcrafted tiles that merge Renaissance heritage with contemporary design. Using time-honored techniques and clay sourced from the Po River floodplain, each piece embodies a refined balance of tradition and innovation.

THE SURFACES

The Tivoli collection features colored technical clay suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, offering high durability for demanding environments. Designed by Cristina Celestino, patterns like Gonzaga reinterpret Renaissance bas-reliefs with geometric precision in tonal palettes of grey, pink, and white. Collections such as Giardino delle Delizieand Scenografica explore spatial rhythm through compositions of solids and voids, adding depth and warmth to architectural surfaces.

THE FINISHES

Fornace Brioni’s traditional cotto is available in smooth or porous textures, with natural shades including Rosato, Bianco, and Moka. Finishing options range from matte and glossy glazes to wax-treated grey cotto, with tonal variations from light grey to black. Each finish enhances the material’s tactile richness while preserving its inherent durability.
