Melbourne, Australia
The studio designs and manufactures a range of internationally award-winning architectural products, whilst taking on commissions for standalone artworks, and as a consultancy develops recycled material and biomaterial solutions for clients in diverse industries.
The studio works are proudly 100% Australian-made, supporting local manufacturing and operating under the design principles of a circular economy. Lasting partnerships are maintained with master-craftspeople and fabricators to ensure outcomes of enduring quality, innovation, environmental responsibility and wonder.
“Edward manages a concerning obsession with the emotional effect of light and the interconnectivity of natural and sacred geometries, and is intent on establishing a systems partnership with nature, inciting a bio-industrial revolution”
Our clientele include local and international architecture and interior design firms, organisations, brands, galleries, private collectors, independent designers and artists, with recent commissions for major installations from the National Gallery of Victoria, the Australian Government, and Louis Vuitton Paris.
The studio’s works have been exhibited and installed across Australia, Europe, the United States, Asia, and the Middle East, and acquired by notable galleries and collections both in Australia and internationally, including most recently The Collectional Gallery in Dubai, UAE.
“[Edward’s] creative journey spans both his design practice and artworks, where he explores the application of various sustainable mediums including mycelium-based biomaterials and up-cycled waste products. Intent on reshaping our perception of 'waste', Edward draws inspiration from nature's closed-loop systems of production”
