The Winter Collection by Andrés Reisinger, commissioned COLLECTIONAL, is a limited-edition furniture series that captures the serene and comforting essence of winter.

Presented in a solo exhibition at Gallery COLLECTIONAL in Dubai, the collection reflects Reisinger’s signature ability to merge digital artistry with tactile design, creating sculptural pieces that evoke both visual and emotional warmth.

Drawing from the stillness and transformative beauty of winter, the collection was conceived as a sanctuary from the season’s chill. Reisinger balances contrasts - frost and fire, structure and fluidity - crafting pieces that are both contemplative and sensorial.

This poetic approach aligns with COLLECTIONAL’s commitment to commissioning works that elevate functional objects into collectible art.

The collection comprises five pieces.

The Winter Sofa serves as a sculptural centerpiece, its dramatic silhouette inspired by snowdrifts and the fluidity of the northern lights.

Inspired by the ancient tradition of stacking stones as meaningful markers, Cairn reimagines this concept through six to seven sculptural lights. Each piece is a study of materiality, combining polished surfaces with translucent layers that interact with light to produce optical distortions. As viewers move through the space, they experience a dynamic interplay of movement and stillness, where light transforms the organic forms into ever-shifting compositions.

The Snowdrop Armchair, with its cocoon-like form and textured surface, resembles frost while offering a comforting sense of enclosure.

This series of six pieces reflects Gallée’s pursuit of balance, solidity and weightlessness, reality and illusion, function and statement, while embracing the meticulous craftsmanship often reserved for smaller ornamental objects. The collaboration provided a platform for expanding Gallée’s exploration of scale and ritual through collectible design.

The Bow Divider draws from fractured ice formations, its translucent surface filtering light into intricate patterns that transform the surrounding space.

Cairn captures a sense of ritual and presence, inviting the viewer into a deeper connection with each piece.

A minimalist Lamp, with its fabric-like texture, softly diffuses light, evoking the warmth of a winter morning sun.

Completing the collection, a delicate Blanket offers tactile comfort, reminiscent of freshly fallen snow.

Cairn captures a sense of ritual and presence, inviting the viewer into a deeper connection with each piece.

This series marks Reisinger’s second collaboration with Gallery COLLECTIONAL, following their earlier project Sun/Leaf. With Winter, he deepens his exploration of nature-inspired themes, translating digital aesthetics into highly crafted physical forms. The collection speaks not only to Reisinger’s innovative design language but also to COLLECTIONAL’s vision of curating works that bridge global creative talent with local narratives.

Through this commission, Reisinger reimagines winter as a season of quiet beauty and introspection, inviting users into a world of stillness, warmth, and wonder. The Winter Collection stands as a testament to his evolving practice and his continued partnership with Gallery COLLECTIONAL.
