Nature has always been an indisputable source of inspiration for creation. BEYOND NATURE celebrates nature at its core - its origins, its fundamental truths. It invites visitors into a contemplative exploration of provenance, of the unseen forces that spark life and creativity. At the heart of this exhibition are the four classical elements: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire.

Earth is synonymous with truth and rootedness - materialised through rocks and minerals that ground and sustain. It is the architect beneath the surface, the silent crafter, the womb to life.

Water flows with elegance and mystery. It nourishes all living things, embodies humility, and adapts with grace. It is a life-giving force, impossible to contain, moving in infinite cycles.

Air is intangible and weightless, yet essential. It reflects light, space, and time, an invisible presence that surrounds, carries, and transforms.

Fire, both constructive and destructive, is a sacred symbol of transformation. It exists only by consuming, igniting passion and energy, illuminating the path forward.

BEYOND NATURE reflects on these elements not as metaphors, but as ever-present forces, creative, cyclical, and alive. Within them lies a shared language between the natural world and the design that emerges from it.

The exhibition unfolds as an immersive ecosystem, with works by designers such as Sabine Marcelis, EWE Studio, Jan Ernst, Nada Debs, Kooij, Christopher Boots, and many others. The space flows organically, allowing the pieces to converse through their materials, carved stone, flowing glass, textured metals, charred wood, and layered resins.

Rather than dividing the elements physically, they are sensed emotionally and materially throughout the space, lightness meets solidity, fluidity contrasts with structure, and warmth radiates from form. The result is a sensory environment that blurs the boundaries between the elemental and the designed, inviting reflection on the intimate bond between nature and creation.
