Horses in My Dreams

Unveiled during Salone del Mobile 2024 in Milan, Horses in My Dreams by Delcourt Collection is presented in the Middle East for the first time at COLLECTIONAL. The collection draws inspiration from the elegance, strength, and quiet mystique of equestrian culture.

Comprising 17 pieces, including screens, tables, armchairs, and sofas, the collection reflects the fluid power of equestrian forms through abstract gestures and anatomical curves. Rather than depicting horses directly, the works evoke the intimate relationship between rider and horse through movement, rhythm, and form.

Materiality is central to the collection’s expression: smoked and brushed elm and oak contrast with supple taupe leather, while soft bouclé and woven textiles echo the earthy tones of rural retreats. The interplay between solid structure and tactile finish creates a visual and physical tension, anchored yet refined, functional yet poetic.

Presented within the Dubai gallery, Horses in My Dreams creates a world of layered texture and quiet sophistication. It is a study in control and freedom, weight and motion, Delcourt’s homage to the enduring spirit of the equestrian world.
