The preservation of the hand in the making, is of central importance to Alexander Lamont, in a world of increasing mass mechanical production. Drawing from the technical heritage and expertise from Europe and Asia, their minimal and organic designs are tailored to exhibit a contemporary reverence for the rituals of craftsmanship, and the humanity infused within every piece.

Founded in 2000 by Alexander Lamont in Bangkok, Thailand, the company is renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship and use of rich, luxurious materials. Known for its mastery of age-old techniques, the studio works with materials such as shagreen, gesso, parchment, and hand-patinated bronze. Every piece is shaped through an intricate process of layering, carving, and finishing, ensuring a level of depth and refinement that defines the brand’s aesthetic. Over the years, Alexander Lamont has gained international acclaim, with representation across the world.
