Colossal Wall Sconce
Designer:
Oliver Wilcox
The Colossal Sconce by Lost Profile Studio carries the appearance of a recovered fragment, its ribbed brass structure recalling machinery abandoned to time. A cylindrical glow is held within a sequence of angled metal fins, creating a disciplined interplay of light and shadow. Available in multiple sizes, the form feels simultaneously engineered and unearthed, shaped by an age when design was direct, exposed, and unyielding.

Lost Profile Studio
Coburg North, Australia
Lost Profile Studio was launched in 2017 by artist, collector and designer Oliver Wilcox.
The studio designs and fabricates a restrained collection of Art Deco and Industrial inspired lighting, furniture and hardware. The studio also trades in a particularly bleak dialect of furniture, art, objects and antiques which are sourced in Australia, USA, and Europe.
There is a symbiosis between the antiques collected and the products the studio creates, the two components of the brand are in dialogue with each other and ever-evolving.
