The Divan Nightstand by Alexander Lamont reflects a study in softness and enclosure, with its generous form wrapped in natural parchment that introduces a calm tactile quality. A stepped lower shelf with a soft cove is finished in open-grain ivory wood, while the drawer front is overlaid with raw gypsum, a material associated with early twentieth century decorative arts, and framed in solid brass. Inside, a deep verdigris green leather lining adds a quiet contrast of tone and texture.
