The Ermete Dining Table by Davide Sozzi takes its name from the Greek god of speech, writing, and magic. The trapezoid base, a truncated steel pyramid, features an iridescent gold finish inside with a dark bronze exterior. The wooden tabletop with rounded corners and pronounced overhang hovers in the air like a trampoline. A narrow, central slit is like a canyon carved into a wooden landscape, revealing glimmers of the golden base.
