Alexander Lamont
The Meso Boxes by Alexander Lamont draw inspiration from the flat-topped pyramids of Mayan temples he encountered on a memorable trip to Mexico at age 16. Crafted from Walnut and elevated on silvered brass feet, these exquisite boxes feature meticulously inlaid straw marquetry and abalone shells, arranged in geometric patterns that enhance their sculptural depth and tapering sides.
