Moiré Table Lamps
Designer:
Alexander Lamont
The Moiré Table Lamp by Alexander Lamont explores the changing character of light through finely inlaid straw marquetry, developed in the workshop to reveal shifting tones depending on the viewing angle. Carefully dyed straw is applied in a precise technique that creates a moiré silk effect, where colors appear to flow into one another like a gentle current. The softly contoured form is completed with a Cadenza fabric shade by Anne Corbière, reinforcing the dialogue between weaving, light, and surface.
