The Oscar Lounge Chairs pays tribute to Oscar Ribeiro de Almeida de Niemeyer Soares, better known as Oscar Niemeyer, the celebrated Brazilian architect and Pritzker Prize laureate. He is famous for his work on Brasília and the French Communist Party headquarters in Paris. Designed by Charles Kalpakian, known for his mastery of intersecting forms, the Lounge Chairs features curved armrests that echo Niemeyer’s love of fluid, organic shapes.
