Rebis Console
Designer:
Davide Sozzi
Dimensions:
Width 200, Depth 40, Height 75 cm
Derived from the Latin res bis, meaning “double thing”, the Rebis Console by Davide Sozzi embodies the alchemical principles of the coincidence of opposites. Its wooden base is machine-crafted, but it is the craftsman’s hand-finishing that lends each piece its silky texture. The tabletop comprises three or more overlapping sheets of colored industrial glass. Their irregular silhouette, drawn by the architect, is cut and staggered to form subtle “terraces”.
