THE MATERIAL

Crafted from a patented compound of vegetal cellulose microfibres, Paper Factor redefines the boundaries of surface design. Sourced from recycled, FSC-certified, and post-industrial paper, the material is lightweight, solid, and durable, yet malleable enough to be carved, engraved, or pressed into intricate forms. It is non-toxic, water-repellent, resistant to mold and bacteria, and provides both thermal and acoustic insulation. Coloured with natural, water-based pigments and finished using low-energy processes, it is a fully sustainable alternative to traditional materials, designed to endure, evolve, and inspire.

THE SURFACES

Paper Factor surfaces are available as Panels, Mosaics, and 3D Skins, each format offering a distinct aesthetic and technical solution. Panels range in size from 10×10 cm to 80×80 cm, with various thicknesses and structural backings such as poplar plywood or metal honeycomb. Mosaics enable precision and customisation in surface composition, ideal for rhythm and pattern. 3D Skins embrace artisanal imperfection with sculptural depth, bringing fluidity and movement to ceilings, furnishings, and walls alike. Each surface is handcrafted, shaped with the same technologies used in wood, metal, or stone, and tailored to both intimate and large-scale applications.

THE FINISHES

Three primary finishes define the tactile identity of Paper Factor. Rough enhances the raw, organic texture of the material. Honed reveals a smooth, matte elegance that evokes handcrafted refinement. Polished, available upon request, lends subtle gloss and reflective depth. Each finish can be fully customised in shape, scale, and tone, allowing Paper Factor to adapt effortlessly across vertical and horizontal surfaces, from architectural cladding to yacht interiors and contemporary furniture.
