PresentForm
Present Form is a Milan-based design and fabrication company built for architects who imagine surfaces that seem impossible: feature walls with organic curvature, ceilings that ripple like geological formations, elements inspired by natural patterns. Turning those visions into installable components has traditionally required a long, costly, and uncertain bespoke process.

Anticipating this hurdle limits what designers dare to imagine; Present Form expands their horizon. Our proprietary technology can manufacture an incredible range of architectural surfaces, with the precision, speed, and affordability of digital fabrication: highly complex three-dimensional geometries, single and double-curved surfaces, organic compositions, large-scale sculptural elements. We turn architectural visions into buildable reality.
Parametric and computational design has been our working language since 2013. Not as an aesthetic choice, but as a method: a way of resolving surfaces that are genuinely complex, where geometry, material behavior, and fabrication constraints have to be calculated together, not solved separately.
More than 300 projects built around the world have shaped and tested this knowledge. WOOD-SKIN and Metal Morphologies are its two material expressions.
WOOD-SKIN is a patented composite material that combines rigid materials, including wood, aluminium, felt, and laminates, with a technical textile substrate, engineered to do something these materials alone cannot: fold. This capacity for controlled deformation is what makes it architecturally significant. Flat panels become curved surfaces, angled volumes, continuous geometries that wrap walls, ceilings, and complex spatial envelopes without seams or structural compromise.
Metal Morphologies applies the same computational design foundation to a fully metallic system, producing surfaces with a different material character: harder, more precise, and capable of a finish range that moves from raw industrial texture to refined architectural luxury.
The technology works by engineering sheet metal into three-dimensional panel geometries through a digitally controlled fabrication process. Each panel is calculated and produced to exact tolerances, which means that even the most complex freeform surfaces are resolved as a system of components that fit together without error.
