EWE STUDIO is a design practice dedicated to preserving and evolving Mexican craftsmanship through contemporary design.

Working at the intersection of tradition and innovation, the studio creates sculptural furniture, lighting, and objects that celebrate raw materials, artisanal techniques, and the beauty of imperfection. The studio unearths techniques, languages, and stories, to translate into contemporary objects. Each piece carries a sense of history while embracing bold, modern forms.Founded by Héctor Esrawe, Age Salajõe, and Manuel Bañó, EWE STUDIO collaborates with master artisans to reinterpret ancestral techniques in new and unexpected ways.

Working with volcanic stone, bronze, wood, and marble, the studio crafts limited-edition works that emphasize texture, weight, and material authenticity.

Balancing refinement with a primal, sculptural essence, EWE STUDIO’s creations exist beyond function, offering objects that feel ethereal, emotive, and deeply connected to their origins.

“To create these works we looked for the best artisans around the country. We travelled to various states, from Oaxaca to Guadalajara and Puebla to find them. Our collaboration with them led to the establishment of Ewe”.
