Lucas Recchia
b. 1992 Based in São Paulo, Brazil
Lucas Recchia is a Brazilian designer whose work redefines material narratives through a sculptural lens.
Fusing ancestral techniques with contemporary modeling, he transforms recycled glass, bronze, and Brazilian stones into collectible objects that explore the tension between permanence and transformation. His practice is rooted in São Paulo, where he collaborates with local artisans to craft pieces that blur the boundaries between art and design.

Recchia's collections, such as Caco, Material Distortion, and Eche, are characterized by their tactile forms, nuanced textures, and a commitment to sustainability, often utilizing solar energy in their creation.
His work has been showcased internationally, including solo exhibitions at SP-Arte in São Paulo, Bossa in New York, and participation in Milan Design Week with Rossana Orlandi.

His innovative approach has garnered collaborations with global brands like Louis Vuitton and Off-White, and recognition such as Forbes's 2022 "30 Under 30" in Architecture & Design. Through his exploration of materiality and form, Recchia continues to contribute to the evolving dialogue of contemporary design.
