The Chubby Dining Chair by Dirk van der Kooij is the most playful creation born from his self-developed extrusion robot. Its almost anthropomorphic silhouette results from the robot’s limited memory, which allows only a simple pattern of structural lines to be formed. Pigment is introduced sporadically during extrusion, making each chair a piece with a distinct color variation.
