Clara Cabinet - 1960s
Designer:
Draga & Aurel
Clara is a 1960s Italian Cavatorta cabinet restored and reimagined by Draga & Aurel as part of their Heritage collection, rooted in the duo's ongoing exploration of memory and transformation through vintage design. The teak structure is carefully restored and finished with traditional French polishing, while the front panels receive layered resin surfaces in translucent colors that create blurred transitions and shifting depth. Brass handles and painted iron legs complete the piece, preserving traces of its history while introducing a new visual language.
