Dora Console
Designer:
Studio Raw Material
The Dora Gray and Red Consoles emerge from the Offcut Series, anchored in the limestone beds of Dora. They are defined by the interplay of ash gray limestone and pumice red marble, fragments hand-cut, studied, then interlocked without adhesives, relying only on weight and gravity. The stepped profile rises from a grounded base to an elevated plane, creating a composition that feels both structured and quietly expressive. A matte finish on the gray surfaces meets the glossy red elements, introducing a subtle tension between texture and sheen that accentuates the piece's layered geometry.
