Endless Rocking Chair
Designer:
Dirk van der Kooij
Dirk van der Kooij’s graduation project, the Endless Rocking Chair follows the same pioneering process that made the Dining Chair a global first: furniture extruded from recycled plastic using a reprogrammed pneumatic robot arm. It is printed from warm, transparent plastic with gentle ripples that refract light like cut crystal. Winner of the Dutch Design Award, the Endless series is now part of the permanent collections at select museums.
