The Helm Ceiling Light, developed by Dirk van der Kooij in Zaandam, is a belted sphere formed from molten ribbons of recycled plastic, layered through Kooij’s signature 3D printing technique. Cocoon-like bands intersect and overlap, creating a corrugated structure that diffuses and refracts light with a crystalline effect.
