The Material Distortion Shelf is part of Lucas Recchia’s latest series. At the heart of the piece is Recchia’s signature use of fused glass encased in a bronze or aluminum frame. This distinctive sideboard features panels of glass that retain bubbles, ripples, and marks, emphasizing the handcrafted process. The frame is finished with hand-applied patinas directly in the casting workshop.
