The Satellite Floor Light by Dirk van der Kooij features a sculptural shell that encases its light source. The ridged surface of low-resolution 3D printing distorted and blended the bands of light, enhancing the lamp’s layered effect. In 2020, the design was updated with LEDs, bringing modern performance to a timeless form. Two knobs on the side allow users to adjust the balance of warm and cool light.
