Mill is located in the Saadiyat ferry terminal, overlooking the pristine waters of the Gulf and just a five-minute drive from Saadiyat’s cultural district. The client envisioned a café that embodies calmness, comfort, and belonging.
A space where guests can linger with their coffee while immersed in the surrounding views. Beyond functionality, the café was meant to evoke a subtle nostalgia for the past, not tied to a specific place like the UAE, but rather to a more universal sense of memory and timelessness.
Since opening, it has received strong recognition from its audience, affirming the successful translation of the client’s brief into a calm and welcoming space that fosters belonging. The atmosphere evolves with time, offering two distinct experiences; bright and serene in the morning, warm and ambient at sunset and evening, ensuring the café remains dynamic and engaging throughout the day.
