Private Residence. Barcelona

Client: Private

Design: UNICA Architects

Scope of work: Architectural Finishes, Art, FF&E

Located in the heart of Barcelona’s Eixample district, this 120 sqm apartment was reimagined by UNICA as a peaceful urban retreat, quietly anchored in the building’s early 20th-century modernist heritage.

The renovation preserves and enhances original architectural features, including Catalan vaulted ceilings and hydraulic tile flooring, creating a layered dialogue between historical elements and contemporary living.

Natural light flows through the central living space, which opens to a 60 sqm terrace furnished for both lounging and dining. The interiors blend textures and tones: exposed brick, clean-lined joinery, neutral wall finishes, and carefully curated furniture pieces that span vintage classics and contemporary design. Signature items include seating by Gallotti & Radice, lighting by Flos and Gabriel Scott, and collectible pieces by Dimore Studio and Bonacina. COLLECTIONAL supported the project with a selected FF&E package, contributing key pieces that enhance the material palette and reflect the apartment’s calm, cohesive atmosphere. Every detail, from storage solutions to surface finishes, was resolved with an attention to comfort, clarity, and timeless design.
