The Estela Jalapa Travertine Floor Light continues Ewe Studio’s exploration of Mexico’s ancestral forms. Inspired by ancient stelae, monolithic stones used by pre-Hispanic civilizations to record history, it is hand-carved from a block of travertine. The exterior is smooth, while the unpolished interior reveals visible tool marks. A warm glow evokes the feel of torchlight in a cave.
