Luigi (o mi amate voi) 3 Bookcase
Designer:
Gaetano Pesce
Luigi (o mi amate voi) 3 Bookcase, originally designed by Gaetano Pesce in 1982, is reimagined by Romeo Sozzi and Bottega Ghianda through hybridization and illumination. The black-stained beech wood frame supports resin shelves with richly colored edges, crafted with the same care traditionally reserved for the most precious wood types. A concealed LED light turns the piece into a luminous screen or theatrical backdrop. The irregular resin surfaces and the grid-like wooden frame evokes Mondrian’s abstract compositions.
