Named after Brazilian journalist Zuenir Ventura, the Ventura Armchair by Fernando Mendes was designed in 2012 around the traditional dovetail joint. This joinery method is prominently displayed where arms meet front legs, combining structural necessity with visual clarity in a lightweight freijó wood frame suited to interior settings.
