The Womb Lamp 01 evokes the mystique and reverence for people who once inhabited the Stadsal Caves, those ancient shelters where light first entered darkness through narrow fissures in stone. Sculpted in white stoneware, its organic hollow cradles illumination like a fire emerging from deep within the earth, the warm glow passing through hand-worked clay with the same unpredictability as flame finding its way through cavernous space.
