Number 5 - Dubai, UAE
Client: Private
Designer: Number 5
Scope of work: FF&E package, partial Fit-Out
Recently opened in Dubai, Number 5 is a specialty coffee shop focused on coffee excellence. The concept was conceived through the owner’s desire to give a new breath of life to an old residence on Dubai’s famed street, Al Wasl.
The interior has been renovated but still remains almost intact structure-wise. Also, the interior has been painted white to give the appearance of a large space. This simple yet sophisticated use of color doubles as a canvas by making the coffee counter and the furniture become focal points.
COLLECTIONAL FF&E and fit-out specialists offered attentive support in the furniture selection and installation processes.
The furniture selection is a celebration of the brand, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH (GTV), with a rich history in furniture design for F&B environments. In Number 5, you can see a furniture combination which sums up the concept of the project– take the best from the past, combine it with the present to create an environment that incites the future.
