Warm sun on the desert sand, the shimmering lights of Dubai - Sabine Marcelis' works capture nature's energy and urban life's vibrancy. As the shapes and colors shift and merge with their surroundings, these dualities harmonize in whispers of light and reflection. The mirage of the two as separate fades as we embrace all the possibilities they invite us to imagine. Glass Table, composed of glass panels and 4 x glass cylinders.

Portal 600 and Prometheus IV Table Lamps embody the cyclical nature of existence, emanating luminescence from a minimalist form. Looking through the lamps, one is drawn through a metaphysical passageway connecting two environments, dimensions, or points in time. A Portal is a gateway, a liminal transition space, a link to beyond with a solid boundary and void. In a charged area, portals have magical resonance and hint at multi-dimensional adventure. Portal Table Lamp draws on this promise while Prometheus stole fire from the Gods of Olympus and gave it to humankind. More than the means for survival- light, and technology, Prometheus’ gift represented creative potential. The spark of creation, previously limited to the Gods, gave mortals the power to dream, create, imagine, and challenge. Prometheus IV is an implosion of blazing crystal quartz, venerating its namesake in a flame ring.

Club Chaise Lounge is a stunning combination of armchair and pouf, creating an elegant and welcoming chaise longue for a modern interior. This design belongs to a singular series by DimoreStudio. The back of seating structure curves inward thereby creating an interesting well-designed back panel. It stands in starck contrast to the linear profile of the front. With the plush seat and back upholstery, the beauty of the Club program is a result of the conglomeration of elements, materials, textures, lines and profiles. The structure is in polished brown-lacquered wooden that distinguishes it, whereas each piece is softly padded with goose feathers and upholstered in an exclusive fabric decorated with flower and foliage patterns. It is completed with polished oxidized brass detailing. It features a custom fabric in the Iris field cloque field.

Parabola III is a Layers Floor Lamp specially designed for reflection based on how the light travels through a solid surface, the beginning and the end, the darkness, the gloom to the dawn, on tension and flexion. The starting points where the brass layer touches base establish the origin for every light element, meaning the number of brass layers indicates each piece's number of light factors. The poetry of the shadows, the absence of light which is as relevant as its presence. The starting points where the brass layer touches base establish the origin for every light element, meaning the number of brass layers indicates each piece's number of light factors. MASA blurs the line between art and design and exhibits works by contemporary artists, architects, and designers parallel to contextual artworks.
Ewe Studio
EWE Studio in collaboration with Nouvel Limited produced a special golden edition of Magma lighting fixtures for Design. The process began with creating molds varying in size and scale, hand carved in volcanic stone by local stonemasons. The volcanic stone was chosen for the molds as it is not affected by the heat of the blown glass, due to its origin. Being an artisanal process, the shape, thickness and tonality differs, as a result giving unique characteristics to each one of the Magma ‘bubbles’. The ethereal golden light is generated through acid finish that was applied on the amber glass surface, together with the hand hammered brass surface contained within the bubbles. Amber blown glass with acid finish, steel, hammered brass, LED lights
