Contardi branded product dates back to 2006 and Contardi is now a well-established company headquartered in the Brianza district - the beating heart of the "Made in Italy" manufacturing. Before then, Contardi had a 30-year history of successful collaborations, providing its lighting expertise to some of the most iconic companies on the Italian design scene. It all started from the creative genius of Michele Carcano, who had a real passion for prototypes and worked for Stilnovo – one of the first companies to build a reputation as a lighting designer.
Contardi is now synonymous with service, quality and flexibility, having become a reliable reference point for architects, interior decorators and lighting consultants who are in search of original and well-designed decorative and functional lighting as well as an unparalleled expertise and service.

Beam, designed by Maria Vafiadis, represents an evolution in the interpretation of the “task light”, a category that includes lamps for writing and reading. Its innovation is found in the clever design that allows the light to be directed without moving the lamp. Through the three-phase switch, the light becomes adjustable and can be set according to the user’s needs.

Audrey SO, designed by Massimiliano Raggi, is an Iconic product inspired by the famous hat worn by Audrey Hepburn in the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's". Designed for exclusive and elegant locations such as lobbies, boutiques, clubs, restaurants and also for classy residential environments. Audrey collection, composed by two table versions, the floor and the suspension versions, is designed as a true style exercise. There are three shades that join together: the cotton on the upper and lower part, san colour bouclé fabric on the central part and the new velvet trimmings, available in different colours. The stem is covered with a braided silk cord.

Athena TA, designed by Massimiliano Raggi, is a table lamp characterised by rectangles (the base) and ovals (the shade), which complement each other. The shade can be made with highly tactile fabrics: marble effect or white cotton, for a couture touch. The base is in dark-brown stained oak, with polished nickel finish inserts to emphasise a sense of balance. Athena is versatile piece that easily adapts to different contexts.

Aisa, Designed by Federico Peri, is unique lighting solution characterised by a clean and linear design, yet with a strong personality. Asia features a lampshade reminiscent of the pointed hats of Chinese rice pickers.

Available in two shapes called Maiorca and Minorca, characterised by the shade made out of the fire-resistant Trevira CS fringes and the body in real polished brass, details that enrich the product. The light source is a customized dimmable LED board, which, in the table version, can be regulated through a three-phase dimmer switch positioned on the base.

While maintaining the same structure, the lampshades now have an oval base, to emphasise simple but up-to-date shapes and lines.
