Apparatus
Using a strict arrangement of semi-precious stones, Talisman Loop Sconce by Gabriel Hendifar for Apparatus recalls the delicate details found on statues in the ancient Persepolis. Agate, jasper, or jade beads are pierced by finely fluted pins, affixing them to a leather-bound brass structure. LIMITED EDITION
Apparatus
Inspired by the mechanics of neural synapses, this pendant is composed of two hand-molded glass domes that require a 4-part firing process. A Brass Orb floats in transit between the two hemispheres.
Apparatus
The Sarlet Sconce combines a hand-finished brass armature with a domed shade that is wrapped in tonal suede and satin. The fixture casts a soft sunburst of light.
Apparatus
Signal reverberates light through the concentric circles of its pressed glass diffuser, informed by the fresnel lens. Recalling the architecture of satellites, the series is punctuated by rhythms of code articulated in the dots and antennae that delicately encircle its brass body. The fixtures create soft gradients of light, like the silent communication of a satellite emitting waves across the ether.

Reprise Table is one of the newest pieces in Apparatus ACT FOUR Collection. Reminiscent of Joe Colombo KD27 Boom Microphones, from this globe wall fixture emits a subtle source of light, gracefully resting in a brass armature hand-wrapped in leather case.
Apparatus
The translucent resin bases of the segment series lift softly-rounded forms, creating a visual play between density and lightness. The underside of the lacquer table tops bulge as though being pulled back to the floor, anchoring one form to the other - the holder to the held. Bound together with fluted brass hardware, the hand-cast resin planes create passages which allow light to move beneath the lustrous surfaces.

Rendered in thick sandblasted ash, portal tables conjure the proportions of ancient structures and the rough-hewn texture of primitive furniture. Notched reveals in the robust material establish points of entry, emphasizing the tension between mass and negative space, human and monumental. Triangular forms rest on supporting columns. The modular pair of tables can be arranged in multiple formations.

Metronome Table Lamp by Gabriel Hendifar for Apparatus evokes the measure and balance of its namesake. A patinated brass sphere perches atop the conical base, which is hand wrapped in suede to provide a lush tactile contrast. A channel in the firmly grounded base reveals an intimate connection between the two forms.
