Emmemobili
Emmemobili is born from the tradition of Tagliabue’s firm, established in Cantù, which focused itself from the very beginning on the creation of high-quality custom-made furniture. The cooperation with leading architects and the gained experience let it to win the Prize at the Triennale del Design in the ‘30s. Subsequently, in the ’50, alongside with the traditional production, it developed the process of manufacturing multilayer wooden panels, first for the aviation industry and then, applying the bent plywood technology, it became a reference company.
The Company is currently run by the 4th and 5th generation of the family, always careful to international trends with an innovative design, purposes of high quality and product customization. This has gone from an artisanal dimension to the current industrial one which, even in its evolution, has maintained the DNA of quality and excellence. The Emmemobili journey has always been independent from stylistic and of the moment trends, sometimes daring, towards the realization of “works of art”, not necessarily coordinated with one another, but each one with its own story.

Evolution, designed by EMMEMOBILI. A unique and iconic element with great strength, Evolution conveys to the viewer the power of the evolution that the world of wooden furniture has undergone in recent decades. From the large hand-sculpted decorations to represent the high cabinet-making that has made the classic style possible in all its richness, to the formal cleanliness of dry and rigorous volumes of a more rationalist and current current.

Drusus, designed by EMMEMOBILI. The Eclissi cabinet is amazement and wonder. A perfect tondo inscribed in a circular structure that conceals a container inside. Suspended between constructive audacity and artistic expression, Eclissi denotes its value not only through its expressive power, but through the complexity of the elements that compose it. The circular door, with a concave section, is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and savoir-faire. The pivot opening reveals the double concave and convex soul of the all-round door allowing, at the same time, to obtain a particular effect of suspension with respect to the structure, further spectacularized by the perimeter luminous aura that arises from the void, generated between the doors and the structure.

The welcoming and reassuring shape of Druso is one of a kind and hides, in each of its elements, the ability and mastery that derive from a great wisdom linked to high cabinet-making. The doors are in fact made of veneered curved plywood and are designed to appear as one with the rest of the structure that makes up the piece of furniture

Doris, designed by EMMEMOBILI. The 'fluted' decoration refers to the most ancient of architectural styles, the Doric order. Doris is a family of containers of various sizes characterized by simple and generous shapes, all underlined by the classic design that characterizes the sides with the exception of the base, which is slightly recessed compared to the front, which streamlines the volume, emphasizing the surface finish. An extremely versatile piece of furniture for compositions and finishes: the wooden version with lacquered grooves gives a reading closer to the classic piece of furniture, while the fully lacquered versions, in sophisticated and current color variations, make it a modern and innovative container in its linear simplicity .

De-Mode, designed by EMMEMOBILI. Softness and great timeless refinement are the characteristics that distinguish De-Mode containers. Developed in high and low configurations, they are characterized by wooden doors that are supported by a metal frame that embellishes the object.

Bars, designed by EMMEMOBILI. A piece of furniture can also arise from a simple idea and the Bars collection is an example of this. Modulated on solids and voids of an alternation of wooden strips, this family of containers is combined in different height and width dimensions, offering numerous possibilities for dividing internal spaces ranging from shelves to drawers, allowing you to create a container that best matches the needs of its buyer. Bars has the monolithic image of the piece of furniture which refers to the Lombard cabinet-making culture.

Arlequin, designed by EMMEMOBILI. A Container with an ironic and particular shape, Arlequin is a refined tribute to the very famous mask of the Italian commedia dell'arte, Arlecchino. Its doors are decorated with differently finished triangles and hide containers of different sizes and shapes that follow the frontal geometries.

Hergon Lounge Chair, designed by EMMEMOBILI. One of Hergon's design motivations is to expand the ergonomics that a backrest can offer. Dynamic seat with lines full of character and innovative in the intersections on the side, where there is also a slot in which the textile backrest is inserted, soft, flexible, ergonomic, and with a new concept. Metal details embellish the lines, and particular attention to the manual finishes. Overall, a pleasant comfort derives from it, capable of interacting with all postures. At the basis of Hergon's idea is the commitment to change the identity of the backrest, which is usually rigid, making it truly performing and welcoming.
