Tiffany Loy
Singaporean artist and educator Tiffany Loy received her training in industrial design at the National University of Singapore. They studied textile weaving at the Kawashima Textile School in Kyoto before obtaining her MA in Textiles from the Royal College of Arts. Having established her practice in 2014, Loy's experimental designs have garnered widespread recognition and have been exhibited mat institutions such as the Singapore Art Museum, Kyoto Municipal museum of Arts, and La Triennial di Milano. Employing a weaver's investigative approach to contemporary art, Loy's studies explore the fundamental relationships between materials within spatial contexts. Her intricate details invite viewers to engage in close observation.
