Shield and disc make an elegant sculptural surface. Irregular sheets of natural parchment, full of tonal variation, are laid over an asymmetrical slab and fully lacquered. The tables are lifted by five deeply textured bronze legs. A Black Marble oval rests on the top as a sculptural accent and 'tray'. The table also works beautifully when two are placed beside each other; skins and form reflecting with relaxed imperfection.

A piece that draws from our adored Alexandria Salon Table. For the top surface we have developed an entirely new surface material; varying lines of ivory shagreen have been covered with white lacquer to create a gorgeous subtle contrast of whites set within a polished brass frame. The Alexandria Side Table has a greater surface size than the Alexandria Salon Table to allow for use as a lamp table or to sit alongside larger seating. Polished brass feet support ebonized wood legs and a new table surface; mica. Mica is a naturally ocurring material with gorgeous tones and an inherent reflective quality. We have selected 'pewter' and 'deep amber' colours and inlaid oblongs in a varigated brick-like pattern reminiscent of Parisian tables of the 1920's. Lapis tables are made with layered lapis lazuli and turquoise-pigmented lacquer that is rubbed through and polished to create tops for the elegant small side/spot tables.
