Ewe Studio
EWE Studio in collaboration with Nouvel Limited produced a special golden edition of Magma lighting fixtures for Design. The process began with creating molds varying in size and scale, hand carved in volcanic stone by local stonemasons. The volcanic stone was chosen for the molds as it is not affected by the heat of the blown glass, due to its origin. Being an artisanal process, the shape, thickness and tonality differs, as a result giving unique characteristics to each one of the Magma ‘bubbles’. The ethereal golden light is generated through acid finish that was applied on the amber glass surface, together with the hand hammered brass surface contained within the bubbles. The Lobby Chairs, designed by Charles and Ray Eames, it is a beautiful chair to furnish lobby areas in New York City's Time & Life Building. All three models in this seating group offer supreme comfort with their luxuriously padded leather cushions, including the inviting visitor chair ES 105, which has an extra-wide seat and low base. The side frames are in chrome-plated die-cast aluminium. The cushion elements covered in leather. Fixed seat height, swivel seat. Armrests are upholstered in leather. It features in a elegant cognac shade finish.

Proiezioni Round side table with Inlay, designed by Elisa Ossino, takes its name from the Italian for “projections” and refers to the effect of light on Stonee. The top is made of Cipollino green marble, with a pattern created by inlaying Verdi Alpi (dark green) marble which -combining them- is creating a strong geometric shape. The central pedestal base is made of Verdi Alpi marble.

Athus console, designed by Oscar & Gabriele Buratti, is an elegant, modern piece. It is characterized by its black open pore lacquered ash wood, which enriches any area with class and luxury. Urano Floor Lamp, designed by Elisa Ossino, is a large sphere-like floor light created by hollowing out a cube of Bianco Carrara marble shedding a soft and romantic light. The carving is done by a diamond drill to make a hollow for the light installation. Finally comes the “sanding” step which is done by hand.

Span Coffee table, designed by John Pawson, was conceived as a family of simple and functional pieces with character deriving from the details of proportion and precise manner. The top is made of white Carrara Marble, resting elegantly in solid Cherry wood four legs base.

Noctambule Suspension 6 Low Cylinder Suspension Lamp, designed by Konstantin Grcic, is a hanging lamp consisting of interconnecting glass modules that evoke elements in their preferred combination. Noctambule is almost invisible during the day but transforms into an impressive, illuminated column of light when switched on in the dark, emitting a delicate glow from the optical opal silicone ring diffusers. The lamp has a cylindrical and semi-spherical transparent blown glass structure, suspended die-cast aluminum ring connector, and hydroformed steel internal lateral arm. Using a strict arrangement of semi-precious stones, Talisman Loop Sconce by Gabriel Hendifar for Apparatus recalls the delicate details found on statues in the ancient Persepolis. Lobby Chair ES 108, designed by Charles and Ray Eames, is an elegant conference chair. Charles and Ray Eames originally designed the Lobby Chairs to furnish lobby areas in New York City's Time & Life Building. Like all models of the Lobby Chair, the conference chair ES 108 has luxuriant leather-covered cushions that offer excellent comfort. The upholstery covers are available in different types of leather and in a wide range of colours. The side frames are in chrome-plated die-cast aluminium. Cushion elements covered in leather. It ha a fixed seat height and a swivel seat. The armrests are upholstered in leather and the base is a four-star chrome-plated die-cast aluminium. It is available in a smoke blue shade finish.
House of Finn Juhl
The 48 Chair, designed by Finn Juhl. The 48 Chair is easily recognized because of Finn Juhl’s characteristic, sculptural shapes and delicate details. The organically shaped seat and backrest are raised from the carrying frame, visually lifting the seated person, making it appear as if the law of gravity has been defeated.

Luna Chandelier 1 Tier, designed by Gabriel Kakon and Scott Richler, is a lighting system with infinite interpretations. It features a synergy of color, shape, and refracted light that is inspired by a Lunar Halo. The modular light fixture grows in every direction as its assembly system stems stacking up with smoked grey and white various blown glass shapes with hardware and canopy in black steel metal.
