Yabu Pushelberg

George Yabu and Glenn Pushel­berg found­ed their stu­dio in 1980 with an empha­sis on inte­ri­or design and have since expand­ed the firm into a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary prac­tice. With offices in New York and Toron­to and a team of more than a hun­dred cre­atives and pro­fes­sion­als, they design places and prod­ucts: buildings, inte­ri­ors, land­scapes, light­ing, fur­ni­ture, objects, and graph­ics, with a focus that goes well beyond what things look like, to how they make peo­ple feel. The firm and founders have earned many hon­ours, includ­ing being appoint­ed Offi­cers of the Order of Cana­da, induct­ed into the Inte­ri­or Design Hall of Fame, and named among the world’s most influ­en­tial design stu­dios by prestigious international magazines.
