An entertaining cabinet that exudes the spirit of the French Riviera in summer; shimmering waters, floating insects on the breeze and the sounds of jazz and laughter. Smokey figured Eucalyptus exterior meets the tones of natural mica on the front and a powerful bronze cicada handle sits at centre above bamboo-inspired wrapped legs. The front and sides are in our unique indigo and burnished straw marquetry inlaid with abalone, mother-of-pearl and patinated copper. This is a finish conceived and created in our own workshops -an example of our important work in innovation and design using prestigious Finishes. The Acadia cabinet is both intricate and raw; a stunning material created in Alexander’s studio, ‘Embers Straw’ is made with layers of straw marquetry in subtle dyed tones that are pressed and abraded to reveal deep layers and cross-currents of reflective light.
