Civilization is a series of uniquely hand-carved marble coffee and dining tables based on ancient Temples and Monuments hewn from their surrounding landscapes. This series pays homage to their great artistry to create pieces that will last for the civilizations that come long after us. Our aim with the Civilisation tables is to use the medium of sculpture – one of the oldest art forms, working with traditional materials, tools, and techniques – to reinterpret and reimagine these incredible structures, and to create modern furniture designs which pay homage to their outstanding beauty as well as the artistry and excellent skills of the artisans that first made them.
Christopher Duffy
Duffy London casts an eye across the American West with the new Monument Valley table design. A uniquely modern design is offered as a coffee or dining table. A visual tribute to rich desert landscapes, marrying contemporary design with luxurious Italian marble to create an enthralling new centerpiece for the living space.

Balance is an uplifting coffee table design conjured up by Christopher Duffy, working with the concept of levitation and buoyancy. A single Helium balloon stands on a thin black disc giving a playful trompe l’oeil as it holds a large piece of glass in a perfectly level and balanced state. Appearing as if it could topple at any moment, Balance introduces a sense of fun into the living space. This piece was created using the latest large-scale 3D printing technology.

Beautiful, bold, and dynamic…a permanent form emerges from a mountain of millions of sand particles. Inspired by the wave-like patterns seen in windswept dunes, the Dune coffee table captivates the essence of the desert with its incredible fluidity and dynamic, free-flowing appearance. Dune is brought to life by 3D printing in black quartz sand to create a solid, textured, and premium finish. Each work is paired with a thick glass tabletop to give a sense of grandeur to the finished piece.

A sampling of the coast’s weaving curves splits into three segments, suspended above the ground on Mirror polished stainless steel plinths. Abyss Boardroom takes inspiration from the balance of land and water and air and offers an inviting glimpse into the thrilling ocean depths. Abyss Boardroom is available in several distinct pieces, allowing the topography to flow from one table section to the next.

Duffy casts his gaze into the heart of ancient ocean depths to dream up a dramatic Wall Sculpture, creating an Abyssal art piece that instantly put you in mind to stories of a flat earth, introducing the majesty of the deep blue to the interior, and an Abyss that gazes back.

The Abyss Console table is a beautiful new addition to the Abyss range. The base of the Abyss Console takes a more fluid approach to representing the geological erosion of the Earth’s Crust; it moves and flows in greater detail, like billowing fabric or distorted rock at high pressures.

A mesmerising and dramatic, circular coffee table. Abyss Horizon invites you to stare down into the abyss and to lose yourself in the great unknown.

The Abyss Desk expands Duffy’s depth explorations with a mesmerizing depiction of the Earth’s seabed, played out in vivid turquoise colors and grounded on stainless steel drawers. Layers of glass and wood combine to create a three-dimensional viewing canvas; the yellow-tinted wood reacts with the blue glass to produce an array of luxurious colors, offering a glimpse into the thrilling ocean depths from the comfort of your dining room! The abyss Desk is raised to office level at 75cm high on matte black plinths.

“As if a mythical power has lifted two perfect rectangles straight from the Earth’s crust to use as his ornaments”
Christopher Duffy
Like all of the Duffy London Abyss designs, Abyss Host plays on the concept of depth and creates a dramatic geological cross-section as mesmerising as the deep ocean.
Christopher Duffy
Duffy casts an eye downwards – looking to the ocean's depths to dream up a dramatic new coffee table. Introducing the majesty of the big blue to the interior… as well as servicing you with somewhere impressive to put your cup of tea!!

Abyss Dining Table expands Duffy’s explorations of depth with a mesmerizing depiction of the Earth’s seabed, played out in vivid turquoise colors and grounded in a resplendent mirror polished stainless steel or matte black finish.
Patricia Urquiola
The Taula table collection was inspired by the imposing monolithic structures of the same name that are found on the Mediterranean islands of Menorca and Mallorca. Designer Patricia Urquiola has reinterpreted their ancestral might and mysticism in a series of innovative dining tables that exalt the tactility of natural stone. The soft sinuous forms of marble and limestone combine with an ingenious metal support system that creates the effect of a top that seems to float above the legs. This optical illusion, the result of meticulous research conducted by our team into form and perspective, defies our normal perception of stone as a solid, heavy material, making it appear unexpectedly light.
Dirk Van Der Kooij
The Meltingpot table designed by Kooij plays a keystone role in the circular design practice at Kooij. Discarded recycled plastic prototypes, production faults, and color tests form the basis of the conglomerate Meltingpot. Meltingpots are made available online as they are produced.
Fornace Brioni

They can be used on many types of surface and in different rooms, not only around the home.
