Crystals Overgrown Candelabra is a thought-provoking piece in its aesthetic and narrative. It exemplifies an object, here the candelabra, forgotten in time. Hand-sculpted unique design artwork by Mark Sturkenboom This world is cluttered with stuff, how would the world look like a few thousand years from now? Crystals Overgrown is a series of chandeliers and candlesticks that appear to be relics from a desolate flooded world. Atelier Mark Sturkenboom designed a fluid that allows objects to grow crystals over a period of time. The base and candle holder features beautiful aluminum with crystal glass in white color.

Precious Artefact
Calanque Light Sculpture takes reference to the stunning landscapes of coves surrounded by limestone cliffs as the casts a warm glow. The combination of materials, textures and organic shapes create a sophisticated setting in vivid reference to its namesake. Calanque Light Sculpture is a lamp in an artwork. It is made with Tufa, a variety of limestone, Translucent glass sheet hammered green water and brass finishes. This is Audrey Guimard and Marie Jeunet's ode to nature, colorful transparencies and hypnotic caustics that unfold before our eyes throughout the day. The brass, affixed as a signature, finishes elevating the pieces and consecrating them as precious artifacts. Their mesmerizing work evoke a succession of waves, sunrises and sunsets, moon reflections on these abstract landscapes where the sand turned glass binds with the shapes of the rock.

Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci are taking us to Asia with the Oriente Lamp series. Striking in its form and materials, Oriente lamps are as befitting for an oriental palace as it does in any discerning space. The lamps come in two distinct versions. Both in painted metal covered with printed silk available in floral motif or plain silk (cream/off white color). Decorative details in polished brass and painted metal in three colors. Ribbed glass internal lampshade. Exposed power cord is considered as an essential part of the design. This is a testament to Dimoremilano's storytelling which create atmospheres and designs that recall. Patricia Urquiola
Single Slinkie is a rug designed by Patricia Urquiola and hand-knotted in the cc-tapis atelier in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is a design story revolving around color, a succession of chromatic evolutions developed in a composite universe of organic shapes. The rug is made with a cotton weave, Himalayan wool, and pure silk.

The Atlas stool is Pietro's playful rendition of the globe. Perfectly round upholstered seat comes upholstered in Lamb Fur for the Fur Atlas or in Boucle fabric. It sits on three hoof-style legs made of brass in patinated or glod leaf finish. This is part of Pietro's collection inspired by Neonetic design, which is based on the biological term “neoteny,” a reference to an organism’s uneven physical development as it ages from it soft, rounded and pudgy features. Hence, his pieces evoke of soft shapes with unconventional proportions and cartoon-like feels.

Memory 40 Cards, designed by Stéphane Parmentier, represents a nod to the childhood games. It features a leather frame box in Printed Calfskin Golf leather in black and white colors with a Plexiglass cover. This Memory game in leather marquetry draws its inspiration from the 20th-century art and design vocabulary favored by the avant-garde of the Thirties, the works of Sol Lewitt, and objects and illustrations by Enzo Mari.

Agave cabinet designed by Hector Esrawe is a metaphor and a homage to the ancient tradition surrounding the culture of mezcal; its expression is influenced by the heart of the Agave plant (also known as “piña”). The cabinets are produced in wood and metal or brass; each of the sets designed will be slightly different due to the unique skills of the artisans that craft them.

Scala Night Stand, designed by Stéphane Parmentier, is a distinctive bedside table inspired by the “stacked” shape often seen at the base of some buildings in Italy. It is made of white lacquered wooden structure and covered with White Suede leather. The key to this table's elegance is the absolute precision of proportions, materials, and colors.

Pierre De Valck
Hand Sculpted Cabinet with Lapis Lazuli is a mid-high cabinet with a fragment of Lapis Lazuli stone fragment, estimated some 65 million years old and found in the Sar-e-Sang mines in Badakchan, Afghanistan. The Oxidized and waxed aluminium structure serves as a contrasting canvass to the Unpolished Lapis Lazuli stone, inlaid by hand by De Valck himself. Each piece is unique and signed. Pierre De Valck shares his passion for archeology and historical artifacts in a line of contemporary furniture--a rediscovery of ancient past on modern pieces.

Scala Leather Round Stool is a unique and dynamic design created by Stéphane Parmentier exclusively for Giobagnara. It represents an iconic form inspired by the "stacked" shape often seen at the base of some buildings in Italy. NEPENTHES is inspired by the carnivorous plant Nepenthaceae, named after this mythical, soporific potion, the flamboyant Nepenthaceae seduce their prey with enticing interiors, sweet scents, and sugary nectar. NEPENTHES expresses these dangerous but pleasurable properties through a sculptural contrast between the hard geometry of solid brass tendrils and the glowing delicacy of amorphous hand-blown glass.

Agglomerati
Agglomerati presents at ALCOVA 2021, MASS its first collection of functional art-objects made exclusively in stone, designed together with Australian furniture maker Fred Ganim. Upon its extraction from the earth, marble is cut into large cubic volumes. MASS explores the reduction of these volumes, subverting the material’s inherent behaviors. Grounded by its weight, the sheer mass of the material uses gravity as a structural force, cantilevering a system of moveable shelves so that they appear to float parallel to the ground. Each modular piece slots together, serving as lecterns, shelves or tables, and can be assembled in any number of variations.

Precious Artefact
Pill light sculptures are composed of layers that seem to float on the walls. A delicate balance between the organic and angular, the translucent and the smooth, the broken and the polished. Tomyris Chair pays homage to the Queen of the Massagetai, a pastoral-nomadic confederation of Central Asia east of the Caspian Sea. Pietro defines this chair with sculptural form through the imposing brass legs in a royal yet bovine feel. The coffee table of EWE Studio is made out six half spheres, three smaller half and three large half spheres, that are assembled together. The table is carved out of Tikal green marble by our stonemasons. The technical complexity of the work is related to its stability, as the upper big spheres are seemingly hovering in the air, resulting in a magnificent visual tension that defies gravity on its cantilever.

Piero Franceshini's passion of highlighting familiar materials in a fresh new outlook takes the limelight with the Un Beso En El Mar Sculpted Stool. Indeed the stool is a kiss from the sea with the wavy curves featuring the stones veining wich is an organic mix of gold, purple-blue, and grey that's bordered by a white backdrop. This is a result of Pietro challenging himself to come up with objects that would have a similar emotional impact but with a new language.
