Cité Armchair, designed by Jean Prouvé, is a beautiful armchair and an early masterpiece by the French designer and engineer. Originally designed to furnish the student residence halls at the Cité Universitaire in Nancy, Prouvé also used this comfortable, expansive armchair with powder-coated steel runners and leather belt armrests in the living room of his own home. The seat and backrest is made with a continuous cover in leather. Upholstery of neck cushion in polyurethane foam and is height-adjustable. The base is made with Prouvé Blanc Colombe powder-coated. It features in a beautiful white snow finish.
