DIRK VAN DER KOOIJ
Dirk Vander Kooij is a Dutch designer best known for his playful extrusions of reclaimed synthetics. Holding the attitude of a craftsman and an inventor, Dirk marries machine and hand in the fostering of honest material expression. His time spent at the Design Academy Eindhoven fruited an ambitious endeavor: to apply low-resolution 3D printing in furniture production. His guiding question was seemingly simple: could plastic be an honest, durable material?

HÉCTOR ESRAWE
Héctor Esrawe graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) in 1992 as an Industrial Designer. From 1997-2001 he was a Design Professor at UIA, after that he became Design Director at CENTRO Study House, where he created the Industrial Design Degree. In 2003, he launched his multidisciplinary design practice, Esrawe Studio, which he directs until today.
EWE STUDIO
With a desire to reflect tradition as part of the natural flow of design, EWE praises diverse techniques, blends primitive roughness with pristine surfaces, and uses natural empathic materials that appeal to the senses. EWE Studio was founded in 2017 by Manuel Bañó, Age Salajõe and Héctor Esrawe. Since then the studio has exhibited at Zona Maco Art Fair, Abierto Mexicano de Diseño with their solo exhibition ´Masa Crítica’, and at MASA Galeria in Mexico City, at Design Miami, Basel, Switzerland, at Objective Gallery in Shanghai, China, and at The Future Perfect and Galerie Half, in the US in New York and LA, and now, on Collectional Dubai.
